OverviewProvidence Medical Center, located near I-435 and Parallel Pkwy. Kansas City, Kansas is seeking an experienced advanced practice provider to join the hospitalist team as a night-time hospitalist practitioner. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working as an NP or PA hospitalist and be comfortable working autonomously without supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working in a collaborative practice agreement with supervising physicians.
Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MSN with specialization as an ARNP2. Current state license as an Advanced Practice Nurse3. BLS upon hire and maintain current4. One to two years of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred.5. Previous experience with electronic health record.
