Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurology or a related field
  • Current state license to practice in Alaska
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Join Neurologists in managing outpatient clinics and conducting inpatient consults
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Conduct neurological assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment options
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium seeks a Neurology APP to join our team at Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska. As a Level II Trauma center, ANMC represents over 30 medical specialties and serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people from across the state. As part of our Neurology department team, you will join our Neurologists in managing a combination of outpatient clinics, inpatient consults. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team, make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
