The Nurse Practitioner contributes to AHF by serving as a frontline clinical provider within the Wellness Center and Mobile Testing service model. Providing same-day HIV/STI testing, treatment, and PrEP/PEP initiation/ consultstions, the Nurse Practitioner expands access to preventive services. Also monitoring patients and preparing comprehensive patient care plans. With a friendly, helpful and compassionate disposition you can enhance the experience of members of our Wellness Center including patients. The Nurse Practitioner also conducts diagnostic test, evaluates lab reports, provides information on how to reduce risk of contracting an STI and interprets healthcare conditions. Providing special attention to patient charts, including treating patients in a timely manner, acting as a medical resource, and providing both counseling and guidance as needed.
The Nurse Practitioner enhances the reputation of AHF by being a team-player, treating all patients, including walk-ins, with respect and the highest level of care.
