  • Budgeting: Manage the department's annual operating budget, focusing on cost-containment and resource allocation.
  • Inventory Control: Partner with vendors to manage high-cost specialty supplies, including stents, catheters, and implantable devices.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Chief of Cardiology to evaluate and implement new technologies and clinical protocols.

4. Quality & Regulatory Compliance
  • Compliance: Ensure the department remains in "survey-ready" status for the New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) and The Joint Commission (TJC).
  • Data Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as patient satisfaction scores and clinical outcome data for the National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: BSN required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). An MSN or Master's in Healthcare Administration is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in a Cath Lab, ICU, or high-acuity Critical Care setting.
    • At least 2 years of leadership experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Managerial role).
