The JobArrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for a
Nurse Educator to support the
Nursing Excellence departmentby developing and implementing continuing education and orientation programs and conduct staff development and mandatory in-service programs for nursing and hospital staff. Nurse Educators develop, implement, and evaluate training for staff in the use of new products, equipment, and procedures; assess educational needs, and plan and implement programs to meet educational needs; prepare instructional materials; and develop and revise policies and procedures.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENTPre-Employment Process: Applicants selected for these positions must pass a background investigation, physical and verification of employment history and education.
License/Certifications: RN license, and Basic Life Support, and depending on the area of assignment, additional certification(s) may be required and must be maintained throughout employment.
Shift Availability: ARMC is a twenty-four hour facility; applicants must be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. Shift differentials are provided.
Sponsorship: San Bernardino County is not able to consider candidates who will require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
Minimum RequirementsCandidates must possess all of the following:
License: Must possess and maintain a current license as a Registered Nurse with the State of California Board of Registered Nursing.
Education: Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
Certification: Must possess and maintain a Healthcare Provider level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Experience: Three (3) years (within the past five years) of full-time experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care hospital.
Substitution: A Master's Degree in Nursing may substitute for one (1) year of the required experience.
