Full Job Description
We are hiring a Field Nurse Case Manager to support injured workers throughout Elizabeth and nearby communities, including Edison, Somerville, Newark, and New Brunswick A Field Nurse Case Manager is a hybrid position. The candidate must be located in the Elizabeth, NJ area due to regular local travel (80% of the time) for in-person patient appointments. Candidate must be willing to travel and be licensed in NJ. This individual is responsible for the medical case management of work-related injuries, which includes assessment, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of injured/disabled individuals. The Case Manager works with insurance carriers, medical care providers, attorneys, employers, and employees, and closely monitors the progress of the injured worker and reports results back to the employer and insurance carriers. Candidate must be willing to learn and take catastrophic cases. Qualifications: - Current, unencumbered compact Registered Nurse (RN) license in NJ. - Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in NY, preferred; required within 60 days of hire date - Experience in case management of workers comp cases, preferred - Recommended certifications (CCM, CRRN, CDMS, CRC) preferred.
