OverviewCentraState Medical Center is currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its Nuclear Medicine team. This role involves performing both routine and emergency nuclear medicine procedures. The technologist will also mentor and train students in a collaborative learning environment, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including IV injections of radiopharmaceuticals, use of spect camera and computers and processing of computer generated images.
- Keeps accurate records of receipt, disposal and administration of radioactive material.
- Performs required Quality Control procedures on camera and equipment and document results.
- Reviews images, documents completion of case, assembles images, requisition and file jacket for delivery to Radiologist.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Formal nuclear medicine technology training at an AMA approved school.
- Previous experience preferred.
- NJ state License required.
- ARRT Certification required.
- CNMT Certification required.
- CPR Certification required.
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team.

Compensation Range: $44.00 - $74.80 per hour
The compensation above reflects the established range from CentraState Healthcare System (CSHS) for this position at the time the job was posted. CSHS considers many factors to determine compensation, including education, experience, skills, licenses, certification, and training. As such, team member compensation may fall outside this range.
Additionally, the compensation range reflects base salary and does not include extra shift rates or incentives tied to quality, productivity, etc., as applicable.
