Description

This position reports to the Directors of NTO and collaborates with Regional Managers to provide field training for testers and ensure proficiency, alignment and increase efficiency within the field organization. The field training will be focused on:
  • Benchmarks
  • Collaborate with Directors to establish goals including but not limited to defining Proficient Tester in each process trained
  • DPLEAK Equipment usage, storage, and maintenance
  • Mechanical and electronic equipment
  • Tablets/software and ancillary equipment
  • Portable power
  • DPLEAK Test process
  • Collaborate with the factory and Regional Operations Managers to ensure that all JF Certified field personnel have comprehensive knowledge of the latest Standard Operating Procedures
  • Ensure that all certified personnel are proficient in the DPLEAK process including site preparation, testing, safety, video generation, saving and transfer. Job log preparation and completion.
  • Secondary Containment (SCT) Repair training
  • Train testers on sump, piping and penetration identification
  • Train SCT testers on proper information gathering from test failures and creating SOP regarding test failure deliverables to ROMS and PM
  • Ensure that all lead testers are certified in Bravo and Icon SCT repairs
  • MC LEAK test process
  • Ensure that all LDT factory certified testers are proficient on MC leak test SOP, including equipment storage and maintenance.
  • Leak Locate process
  • Collaborate with ROMs to ensure that all NTO testers have proficient understanding of leak locate methods utilizing helium and proprietary gas mixes.
  • Create JF SOP for basic leak locate
  • Collaborate with LDT on training JF regional Sr. Testers on advanced leak locate test methods
  • Reporting
  • Provide reporting to NTO Directors and Regional Operations Managers on testers trained that details training delivered, areas of strengths and areas for improvement/further growth.
  • Generate LDT factory correspondence report with field input from testers in the field that highlights areas of improvement in process, equipment and deliverables.
  • Test Report QA/QC
  • Assist ROMs with test report QA/QC in PASS system
  • Safety
  • Perform safety observations, instruct on NTO safety practices to enhance consistency and implementation, identify areas where improvement is needed and work with Directors to prioritize and implement Training
  • Goals:
  • increase current level of DPLEAK proficient testers by 50% in the first year.
  • Increase current level of Leak locate proficient testers by 30% in the first year
  • Reach goal of 75% proficiency for all lead testers in SCT repair training


Travel: This position will require significant travel (65%), working with specific testers for defined schedules ranging from 5-9 day increments. This position will require night work to allow for working with crews who perform testing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Industry experience in Secondary Containment Testing
  • PEI 1200 certified
  • Manufacturers certification in Bravo, ICON, Veeder Root preferred
  • Training experience preferred
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.
  • Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a drug screen, background check, and MVR, if driving for the company

Salary Description

$90,000 - $98,000 per year, DOE
