Position Summary:
Middletown Medical is seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Psych NP) to join our healthcare team in Middletown, New York. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with mental health concerns. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support the mental health and overall well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments.
Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions within the scope of practice and individual clinical privileges.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with applicable regulations and clinical guidelines.
