Schedule and Responsibilities
Monday-Friday- No call. No weekends, nights or holidays
All outpatient
Work location at PRMC with some outreach clinics
Great collaboration with our 6 other neurology NP's and our Neurologists
Opportunity to participate in quality improvements and patient care initiatives
Assist with Health Assessments, Strokes, Seizures, and Procedures. APPs perform procedures such as Botox injections for headache/migraine, occipital nerve blocks and trigger point injections
Day to Day includes patient appointments, managing in-box for patient calls/messages, and following up on laboratory and imaging results. Participating in care improvement initiatives
Job Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing program (DNP optional)
Current or pending state license for Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
Current or pending certification by an approved professional certification organization
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
Certifications as required by specialty which may be but are not limited to:
BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA)
ACLS/ACLS-EP
PALS
ATLS
CSR
