Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited program (DNP optional)
• Active or pending state license as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Current or pending certification from a recognized professional body
• Preferred minimum of 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner
• Relevant specialty certifications (BLS, ACLS/ACLS-EP, PALS, ATLS, CSR)

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care Monday to Friday without on-call or weekend duties
• Collaborate with other neurology Nurse Practitioners and neurologists
• Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
• Assist in health assessments, strokes, seizures, and procedural tasks
• Perform procedures such as Botox injections, occipital nerve blocks, and trigger point injections
• Manage patient appointments and communications
• Follow up on lab and imaging results while engaging in care improvement initiatives
