Job Summary
The Node.js Developer will contribute to full stack development and AI-enabled software engineering initiatives as part of a cross-skilled team building innovative products for small businesses. The role will focus on developing frontend and backend services using Node.js and React, building highly available and performant applications, supporting production operations, and developing modern CI/CD processes. The position will also involve database performance tuning, automated monitoring, testing, debugging, and application development using modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop frontend and backend services using Node.js and React.
• Build and maintain responsible applications using ReactJS.
• Perform performance tuning at both code and database levels.
• Support production software operations, including testing and debugging programs.
• Develop and extend continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Design and maintain automated monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems.
• Report progress and status of assigned tasks to project teams and managers.
• Contribute to the development of innovative products using technologies such as Node.js, DSQL, GraphQL, Docker, and ADLC.
• Support customer-focused and feedback-oriented development practices.
• Contribute to modern software development, CI, and CD processes.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Node.js or Java development.
• Strong experience designing and developing highly available and performant applications.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and a strong understanding of software development best practices.
• Extensive experience with at least one additional modern programming language besides Node.js, such as Java, C#, Go, or Python.
• Strong experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
• Experience with tools such as Jenkins and Docker.
• Experience developing full stack applications using Node.js and React.
• Experience with performance tuning at both application and database levels.
• Experience supporting production software operations, testing, and debugging.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
• DevOps and Build Engineering experience.
• Experience with GraphQL, DSQL, and ADLC.
