Job DescriptionHarborview Medical Center (HMC) has an opportunity for a leadership role within the Harborview Abuse and Trauma Center (HATC) Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) program.
The
Health Program Operations Manager is a key member of the HATC leadership team, providing oversight, management, and coordination of the HATC medical clinic, SANE program, SANE Training program, and TeleSANE program.
Schedule- Monday-Friday, day shift
- 40 hours per week
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
- Provide leadership, oversight, and daily operational management of the HATC medical clinic, SANE program, SANE Training program, and statewide TeleSANE program.
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinic, forensic exam, and follow-up care policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory, institutional, contractual, and funding requirements.
- Recruit, hire, supervise, evaluate, and manage personnel actions for SANE, TeleSANE, and SANE training program staff.
- Conduct routine case reviews, support program evaluation efforts, and prepare grant and annual program reports.
- Coordinate with contracted and off-site SANE locations to provide training, consultation, technical assistance, and compliance support.
- Support and participate in, SANE education and training programs, including staff development, professional presentations, and community outreach.
- Represent HATC on hospital, community, and statewide committees, task forces, and multidisciplinary workgroups while promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism practices.
Direct Patient Care
- Provide evaluation and nursing management of medical symptoms, lab results, and post-assault self-care education, with physician support as needed.
- Work at least one TeleSANE shift per week.
- Work at least one SANE shift per month.
- Provide backup support for SANE follow-up exams in the HATC medical clinic and at contracted off-site hospitals.
Requirements- Current Washington State RN license or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Four or more years of healthcare program leadership, supervision, or mentorship experience.
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Three or more years of SANE experience.
- Successful completion of the Harborview Medical Center 40-Hour Core SANE Training.
- Successful completion of the Harborview Medical Center Pediatric SANE Training, or willingness to complete upon hire.
- Working knowledge of Washington State SANE protocols and systems.
- Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration
Compensation, Benefits and Position DetailsPay Range Minimum:$145,008.00 annual
Pay Range Maximum:$180,000.00 annual
