OverviewThe Network Engineer will work to design, deploy, and support our hybrid networking environment, with a focus on on-premise data center, campus and SDWAN infrastructure and integration with Azure cloud networking. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience troubleshooting network solutions that bridge on-premises, branch, and cloud environments.
This role will be in our Twin Cities Office! This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure routing policies, particularly for vWAN architectures
- Configure and manage Site-to-Site VPN, ExpressRoute,
- Configure BGP routing, dynamic routing policies, and route propagation between SD-WAN campus and data center edges and cloud hubs
- Troubleshoot routing, latency, and connectivity issues across on-prem and cloud environments
- Monitor network performance and capacity
- Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures
- Respond to escalated network incidents
- Partner with cloud, security, and application teams on network-related projects and migrations
Qualifications
- 4-6 years of experience in network engineering, with direct experience in Azure cloud networking
- Hands-on experience with enterprise scale WAN, LAN and vWAN
- Strong understanding of network routing protocols, BGP, SMB, DNS, IPsec, OSPF
- Experience with ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, NGFW
- Experience designing and supporting multi-region cloud networking
- Familiarity with network segmentation principles
- Working knowledge of IPsec and QoS in SDWAN environments
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Experience with multi-cloud networking (AWS/GCP) a plus
- Relevant certifications such as AZ-700
The base salary range for this position is: $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience and location.
