Full Job Description
Purpose:

Performs professional level computer duties for all aspects of enterprise-wide multi-protocol and multi-

topology communications network which includes overseeing network design, diagnosing problems,

purchasing equipment and scheduling maintenance and repairs.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Configure, upgrade, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the enterprise network
  • Interact with customers to help resolve network issues
  • Work cross-department (Help Desk, Applications) to resolve network issues
  • Troubleshoot firewall issues
  • Implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
  • Maintain PCI and HIPAA compliance for the network
  • Configure and administer VPN connections
  • Configure and administer 2-factor authentication systems
  • Configure and administer corporate wireless (Cisco)
  • Configure and administer all network switches, routers, and firewalls (Cisco)
  • Network upgrades to fix bugs and security holes
  • Maintain network diagrams
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and Specifies and purchases new hardware and software.
  • On-call rotation: Some evenings, overnight, and weekend work will periodically be for deployments and releases. This position periodically serves on an on-call rotating schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a technical environment with familiarity in computer hardware and software.
  • Technical skills including but not limited to: Cisco ASA, Cisco Catalyst/Nexus switches.
  • Strong Cisco (routing and switching) background
  • Strong Cisco (firewall) background
  • Experience with VPN's and 2-factor authentication systems
  • Experience with maintaining PCI & HIPAA compliance
  • Maintain software licensing.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of computer hardware and software
  • Experience with enterprise wireless
