Full Job Description
Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovation solutions? Join our team! As a Network Engineer III, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing network infrastructure projects and ensuring the reliability and security of the corporate network. This position requires extensive experience in network engineering, project management capabilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will act as a lead on various projects and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, expand, and maintain secure network architectures
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the engineering team
  • Oversee the development and enforcement of network security policies and procedures
  • Azure and AWS configuration and maintenance
  • Windows Server and Linux operating system configuration and maintenance


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols and services [e.g., Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)].
  • Experience designing & managing network implementation projects in a dynamic fast paced environment.
  • Experience with IDM (Identity Management) and Active Directory user and asset management
  • Experience with deployment, configuration, and sustainment of Windows Server and Linux-based operating systems
  • Proficient with deployment of solutions in Cloud Service Providers such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS
  • Experience administering Hyper Converged Infrastructure / Virtualization Technology
  • Familiarity with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework and control implementation
  • Experience configuring, implementing and leveraging computer security and networking diagnostic/monitoring tools
  • Ability to rapidly work with minimal supervision on projects
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to gain and maintain a Secret Clearance


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • IAT Level III certification (CISSP, CASP, GCIH, etc.)
  • Professional industry certifications such as Microsoft Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Networking Professional, CompTia certification (Security+, Network+, Server+)
  • Experience engineering zero trust networking solutions.
  • Expertise in Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) WAN, Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), and emerging networking technologies.
  • Experience in containerized software ecosystem: Docker, container deployment, Docker swarm, Docker security hardening (networking, monitoring, logging)
  • Experience with scripting languages/tools (Bash, Python, Perl, Powershell)
  • Experience working with Developers, DevOps, and Engineering teams in a dynamic environment to promote/implement the DevSecOps program throughout the organization

Essential Functions:
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs regularly.
  • Work primarily at a computer for extended periods.
  • Frequent use of hand/finger dexterity for computer work.
  • Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • The ability to participate in afterhours on-call duties.
