Qualifications

• Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph required
• 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience
• Proven expertise in network solution support across multiple platforms and systems
• Extensive experience with network infrastructures, including provisioning and maintenance
• Strong diagnosis skills for network performance issues and a track record of implementing improvements
• Familiarity with advanced networking technologies, such as software-defined networking and infrastructure as code
• Proficient in switch, routing, and firewall management, as well as VMware virtualization at scale.

Responsibilities

• Support multi-platform, multi-system network solutions
• Provision and maintain network infrastructures
• Diagnose network performance shortcomings and design improvements
• Develop and manage network protocols, QoS, traffic shaping, and policing
• Research and recommend advanced technologies for enhanced network capabilities
• Manage virtual infrastructure within VMware environments
• Oversee Layer 2-7 network functions, including firewalls and load balancers.
