Job Description:NOW HIRING: NetSuite DeveloperCompensation: $125,000-$146,000 per yearJob OverviewThe NetSuite Developer is responsible for developing, testing, and deploying custom solutions in NetSuite for the organization. They will work cross-functionally with various departments to understand their business needs and translate them into technical specifications and code. The NetSuite Developer also provides on-going technical support, bug fixes, enhancements, and system documentation.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, integrations, and applications in NetSuite using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder
- Test and debug custom solutions in NetSuite using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF) and SuiteCloud IDE
- Develop and optimize NetSuite SuiteTalk, SOAP integrations, or REST integrations
- Deploy custom solutions in NetSuite using SDF, SuiteBundler, and SuiteApp
- Provide on-going technical support and troubleshooting for custom solutions in NetSuite
- Build accurate reports, searches, and dashboards in NetSuite as requested by users and management
- Accurately document NetSuite development processes and standards
- Provide NetSuite development expertise and guidance for both internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with business analysts, project managers, and end users
- Stay updated on NetSuite updates, features, and technologies
- Architect and implement configurations and customizations of NetSuite to solve business problems and give our teams the tools and information they need to be successful
- Test and implement new features and processes, onboard new employees, train users, and customize for scaling the growth of the business
- Provide on-going systems and technical support
- Build accurate reports, searches, and KPI's as requested by users and management
- Accurately document NetSuite processes
- Strong understanding of and ability to manage NetSuite order flows
- Provide NetSuite administration for both internal and external employees
- Troubleshoot and develop resolutions for streamlining automation flows
- Maintain NetSuite updates
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for our NetSuite deployment, including fully documenting existing and new customizations, scripts, workflows, and defined business processes

Education and Experience:BS or equivalent in Accounting or Computer Science
5+ years' hands on experience working with NetSuite.
3+ years' experience developing scripts and code for NetSuite.
Experience serving as primary technical administrator for a key enterprise application (CRM, ERP, etc.) or equivalent technical responsibility
Strong understanding of and ability to optimize NetSuite performance, governance, and best practices
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:NetSuite Administrator Certification a plus.
NetSuite Application Developer Certification a plus.
May be required to have a valid drivers' license.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong understanding of the accounting and financial modules within NetSuite
Can exercise strong problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Has the ability to liaise with different departments and multiple business disciplines.
Fully proficient in NetSuite data model, record types, fields, forms, roles and permissions, page layouts, searches and reports, and NetSuite API
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesCarries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; performance evaluations; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.
