Responsibilities

Join a respected, high-performing neonatology team serving one of Florida's fastest-growing and most desirable regions. Pediatrix® Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to help support our expanding BayCare practice across multiple modern, well-resourced hospitals in the Tampa Bay area.

  • Primary Coverage: St. Joseph's North (Lutz) and St Joseph's Women's Hospital (Tampa)
  • Schedule: 10 shifts/month, 16-hour night shifts and 24-hour shifts
  • Practice Variety: Opportunities to rotate through:
    • Morton Plant Hospital - Level II NICU (10 beds)
    • Mease Countryside Hospital - Level III NICU (12 beds)
    • St. Joseph's South Hospital - Level II NICU (11 beds)
  • 24/7 In-House Neonatal Coverage at all BayCare hospitals
  • Team-Based Care: Night coverage always by a neonatologist or NNP; normal newborn care shared by neonatologists & pediatricians
  • Large, Collaborative Practice:
    • 16 Neonatologists
    • 5 Neonatal Hospitalists
    • 14 NNPs
