NC3 Assessment Analyst
The Opportunity:

As a NC3 Assessment Analyst, you'll bring your technical expertise to work on projects. You'll assess the ability of various sites to perform their mission and then write reports for each location. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, and electromagnetic pulse effects on various systems.

You'll guide the work we do and the solutions we deliver to improve defense planning.

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience in strategic military satellite communications programs such as EHF, AEHF, and SHF providing architectural and SATCOM requirements analysis
• 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, analyzing, repairing, upgrading, operating, and maintaining secure SATCOM capabilities to ensure secure, survivable, and jam-resistant communications
• 3+ years of experience preparing technical documents to authorize scheduled downtime for maintenance procedures, schedule preventative maintenance, and document logistics
• 3+ years of experience with electronics test equipment and tools, including spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multi-meters, data test sets, radio frequency measuring equipment, soldering irons, and non-power tools
• Knowledge of satellite communication principles, including uplink, downlink, transponders, and signal propagation
• Knowledge of satellite network architecture, including ground stations, antennas, modems, and satellite payloads
• Ability to provide support in the areas of strategic and non-strategic C4I systems analysis, systems integration, modeling and simulation, architecture development, trade-off analysis, nuclear weapons effects support
• Ability to travel up to 35% of the time
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing electronic components such as circuit boards, power supplies, amplifiers, and radio frequency (RF) systems
• 3+ years of experience using specialized test equipment, such as Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, Spectrum analyzers, Signal generators, and Bit error rate testers (BERT)
• Knowledge of electrical systems, including voltage, current, resistance, and power calculations
• Knowledge of mechanical systems related to satellite communication equipment, such as antenna alignment and mounting hardware
• Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members and higher command

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
