Position Description:We are looking for a Natural Gas Project Manager to join our ICE team to improve infrastructure in our Michigan offices. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental (or a related engineering field) and five or more years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required. Must have experience with Autodesk Civil 3D. A flexible hybrid-remote work schedule available after 30 days of employment.
Typical responsibilities include:- Oversee and grow design team of gas distribution systems
- Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing
- Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget
- Manage resources to successfully deliver project to client on time and under budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Provide design/technical expertise to project and/or coordinate as necessary with technical leads
- Coordinate the design function with various team members on the project
- Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks
- Maintain lasting client relationships
- Generate additional sales through business development activities
- Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings
- Assist with project reports and technical presentations
- Attend client, staff and project meetings
- Estimate fees, review project plans and specification
- Maintain a safe working environment
Education:- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Environment (or related engineering field) is required
Skills/Experience:- 5 or more years of experience in natural gas distribution systems/design, natural gas infrastructure, regulator station design, high pressure steel, compression, and government regulations is required
- Knowledge of personal computer hardware and software configurations and familiarity is required
- Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D is required
- Experience with CadWorx or Autodesk Plant 3D is a plus
- Compression station design experience is a plus
- Horizontal directional drill (HDD) modeling is a plus
