National Account Manager to lead our partnership with one of the world's largest retailers:
Kroger.
This role is about building a true partnership - shaping strategy, driving growth, and creating value for both Pabst and Kroger. You'll work alongside our internal Kroger team, while working cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Insights, Finance, and Operations to bring plans to life. We're looking for someone who is curious, thoughtful, and results-driven - a leader who builds strong relationships, uses data to inform decisions, and knows how to turn ideas into action.
What You'll DoIn this role, you'll help shape how our brands show up with one of our most important retail partners.
- Drive results with a strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Kroger HQ and our distributor network
- Conduct regular audits to ensure pricing, promotions, and programming are executed accurately
- Use sales tools (IRI, Margin Minder, VIP) to analyze performance and inform sales strategies
- Lead the development and execution of key customer initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to deliver company priorities, including POS, distribution, and display enhancements
- Provide market-level insights, education, and support to internal and external partners
- Lead regular sales calls with Kroger buying teams, including business reviews and presentations
- Ensure alignment across customers and distributors on timelines, product launches, forecasts, pricing, and distribution goals
- Support annual planning and budgeting; track and report performance against plan
- Maintain strong operational discipline through timely communication, reporting, and system updates
- Collaborate with distributor partners to support order management and execution
- Represent the brand at customer-facing events (festivals, tastings, beer dinners, brewery tours, etc.)
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3+ years of National/Strategic Account experience or 5+ years in CPG sales
- Experience working with large retail accounts (Kroger experience strongly preferred)
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using sales and data tools
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across teams and partners
- A collaborative, proactive approach and a drive to continuously improve
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- A genuine interest in the beer industry and the culture around it (bonus if you know the 3-tier system, brewing, or spirits)
Additional DetailsThis role is based in Seattle, with regular travel (up to 30%) to support the business. The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000, based on experience. To be eligible, you must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. This role is eligible for our vehicle reimbursement program, providing fair and accurate reimbursement for business use of your personal vehicle.
