Position descriptionThe Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging is seeking a Musculoskeletal Radiologist for a faculty position. The selected candidate will be appointed at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Clinical X, In Residence, or HS Clinical series depending on qualifications and interests.
The selected candidate should demonstrate a commitment to building a strong academic career and excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. The candidate will supervise trainees and provide outstanding teaching to medical students, residents, and fellows at a top radiology training program in the country. To accomplish this, the department seeks candidates who have clinical expertise in musculoskeletal imaging. Obligations will include clinical work primarily at UCSF's Parnassus Campus at the ACC building and UCSF's Orthopedic Institute at Mission Bay, but may also include clinical work at other UCSF Health and UCSF affiliated sites.
The position requires an MD degree (or equivalent), ability (or eligible) to practice medicine in California, and completion of fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Radiology. Applicants are expected to be board certified (or eligible) by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or be prepared to enter into the ABR Alternate Pathway. Applicant materials must list current and/or pending qualifications upon submission. The selected candidate must meet all of the qualifications at the time of appointment.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $149,700-$393,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
