- Actively participate in the project planning and design process for various municipal projects
- Assist municipal clients with asset management and long-range capital improvement planning for transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure
- Develop plans, specifications, project budgets and other related bid documents for civil engineering projects with the support of the various technical departments
- Work with municipal staff to evaluate and develop engineering solutions
- Facilitate permits with regulatory agencies as needed
- Review engineering plans for conformance with local ordinances
- Attend municipal board meetings
Your Background and Credentials- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years previous experience in municipal engineering
- PE licensure is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel, is required
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or ArcGIS is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and relationship building skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills

The pay range for this position is $66,000 to $120,000 annually. Final compensation is dependent on multiple factors including years of experience, any applicable licensure and/or certifications, and internal pay structures.
