You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager for the Production, Planning and Control organization. Our team is responsible for managing the internal Make Planning and Material Handling team across multiple production buildings on site.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager, you will be responsible for leading the manufacturing planning, production support, and material handling teams to ensure efficient production operations. You will oversee the management and staffing of approximately 2-5 direct reports and work to continuously improve production processes through Production Management Teams and operational metrics.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Monitor schedule performance, identify constraints, and develop mitigation plans.
• Monitoring inventory health and material shortages; adjusting schedules dynamically when supply or labor issues arise.
• Acting as a cross-functional liaison between program, quality, engineering, procurement, and manufacturing.
• Driving continuous improvement through Production Management Teams and operational metrics.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Production Planners and Material Handlers; provide direction, prioritization, and performance feedback.
• Communicate planning risks, material constraints, and schedule updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support new-product introduction, ramp-up planning, and operational readiness.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation and data accuracy within ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Apriso).
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance material flow.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and minimum 5 + years of hands-on experience in production scheduling, material planning, or inventory control in a manufacturing environment; 1 + years of that time must be in a leadership role.
• Experience with SAP or an MRP equivalent.
• Expertise in master production scheduling, capacity planning, and bill of materials (BOM) management.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, VBA) and data-visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Demonstrated ability and experience communicating with peers, leadership, and internal customers effectively on multiple platforms (face-to-face, virtually, email, Teams, etc.)
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance and must have a final secret clearance prior to starting.
• Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $89100.00 - $165500.00

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible work arrangements and schedules (e.g., 4x10), 401(k) match, Paid time off, Holidays, Parental Leave, EAP, Flexible Spending Accounts, Education Assistance, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability.
  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
