Standard Job DescriptionLockheed Martin's Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program is seeking a Production Manager for our Missile Body Operations (MBO) organization at Strategic Weapons Facility, Pacific (SWFPAC), Naval Base Kitsap, Silverdale, WA.
In this dynamic role you will:
- Oversee day to day production in MBO and lead assigned salaried and hourly represented personnel to ensure organizational goals and production milestones are accomplished safely, on schedule and within budget.
- Manage more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as assembly, disassembly, tool and die, packaging.
- Be responsible for employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
- Be responsible for the safe accomplishment of assembly, disassembly, processing, testing and inspection of missile bodies, missile sections, and missile components for the Trident II D5 Weapon System.
- Ensure personnel adhere to safety, security, and quality in a team environment within the organization.
- Participate in the preparation and presentation of proposals, business plans, operating budgets, and program metrics with colleagues and Sr. Management.
Basic Qualifications- Direct customer interface.
- 5+ years of leadership experience (informal or formal).
- US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a final Secret security clearance. Interim Secret clearance required prior to start. Cannot be a dual citizen.

- In-depth knowledge of root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Ability to critically assess organizational performance, develop metrics, and take corrective action as necessary to make lasting improvement within the organization.
- Demonstrated effective problem and conflict resolution skills.
- Effectively interface with customers (internal and external), demonstrating sound situational reasoning and judgment.
- Possesses a United States security clearance.
- Experience with Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $123400.00 - $229200.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
