Responsibilities

Multi-Site Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager

Locations: St. Marys & Coudersport, PA

Lead Safety. Influence Culture. Drive Impact.

At Morgan, safety isn't just a priority-it's a core value. We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on EHS leader to oversee Environmental, Health & Safety performance across two manufacturing sites. This is a multi-site leadership role requiring consistent on-site presence and travel between our St. Marys and Coudersport facilities.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong safety cultures, leading teams across locations, and driving continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead and mentor EHS Engineers across both sites, ensuring alignment and consistency
  • Champion corporate EHS programs while developing practical, site-driven solutions
  • Partner with site and regional leadership to align EHS strategy with business goals
  • Foster a proactive, high-trust safety culture across both facilities

Multi-Site Presence & Collaboration
  • Maintain a regular, visible presence at both locations to support operations and reinforce safety culture
  • Travel frequently between St. Marys and Coudersport to engage teams, conduct assessments, and lead initiatives
  • Ensure consistency in EHS standards, practices, and expectations across both sites

Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulations
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews
  • Oversee hazardous waste management, permitting, and reporting (RCRA, NPDES, Title V, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate EHS records, logs, and documentation

Incident Prevention & Continuous Improvement
  • Lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Drive Behavior-Based Safety and observation programs
  • Develop and maintain Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)

Training & Engagement
  • Design and deliver impactful EHS training programs across both sites
  • Lead safety meetings and plant-wide initiatives
  • Engage employees at all levels to build ownership of safety practices
  • Serve as a visible EHS leader on the manufacturing floor

Program Management
  • Manage key programs including LOTO, PPE, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hazard Communication, and more
  • Oversee emergency preparedness and response
  • Support energy reduction and sustainability initiatives
  • Lead or participate in Plant Safety Committees

What You Bring

Experience & Knowledge
  • Strong EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Proven ability to lead across multiple sites or complex operations
  • Deep knowledge of environmental regulations (RCRA, Title V, SARA, NPDES, etc.)
  • Experience with ISO-style EHS management systems

Leadership & Skills
  • Ability to influence and drive change across multiple teams and locations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Hands-on approach with time spent on the production floor
  • Skilled in incident investigation, risk assessment, and problem-solving

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 5-7 years minimum experience; or equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications relevant to the position.

Additional Certification:
  • Certified Safety Professional - desirable.
  • Certified Industrial Hygienist - desirable
  • Certified Hazardous Materials Manager - desirable
  • Having access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)
  • Individual must be a Citizen of the United States, or Permanent resident alien of the United States, or Protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) (22 CFR 120.15.)
