This role is for an experienced Mission Planning Environment (MPE) Administrator providing Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) support at JASDF Nyutabaru Air Base, Japan. The MPE Administrator directly supports JSF operations by assuring the integrity and availability of the applications and servers on the system. The successful candidate will be the main interface between the MPE system and the Pilots and maintainers supporting the F-35. This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit, so the selected candidate may be required to work at deployed CONUS/OCONUS locations, support rotating shifts, and work over 40 hours per week-which may include weekends-as dictated by mission requirements. The successful candidate will be required to train both JASDF administrators as well as help maintain multiple JASDF ALIS servers.
