Full Job Description
ABOUT THE TEAM

The Manufacturing Security program is a critical component of Anduril's overall security posture, specifically tailored to the complex demands of our large-scale manufacturing sites. Our approach differs significantly from other security operations, requiring a specialized team of professionals with unique, on-the-ground expertise. Recognizing the distinct security challenges of high-production industrial environments, our specialized team brings unique expertise in areas such as advanced technology integrations, specialized risk mitigation and tailored security strategies needed to safeguard our people, assets & intellectual property, thereby enabling uninterrupted production vital for national security and innovation.

The Manufacturing Security Operations Center (MSOC) will serve as the primary physical security monitoring and dispatch center for Anduril's large-scale manufacturing facilities. The team will operate 24/7/365, triaging reports/requests, dispatching responders, monitoring technical security alarms, coordinating emergency responses, supporting investigations, and escalating significant incidents to Anduril's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). When a state of operational maturity is reached, the operations of the MSOC team are envisioned to resemble a hybrid between a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and a corporate security alarm monitoring center, servicing multiple large manufacturing campuses.
ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Security Operations Center (MSOC) Manager to build and lead Anduril's MSOC team supporting security operations across our large-scale manufacturing facilities. Reporting to the Program Manager of Manufacturing Security, this role is pivotal in developing the MSOC team, directly addressing the unique, operational risks of rapidly growing, high-activity industrial sites. In this role, you will oversee the selection, training, supervision and quality assurance of the MSOC team, develop a comprehensive suite of procedures, standards, references, and other written material in support of the team's operations, and ensure that the team is enabled to support responses to routine and emergency incidents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the MSOC. Ensure sufficient staffing coverage, identify and address process gaps, and ensure that the team's service level aligns with stakeholder expectations.
  • Incident Management Support: Serve as the MSOC's administrative point-of-contact during major incidents and events. Participate in incident management team calls and post-event debriefs. Assemble event timelines and support incident reconstruction as part of after-action reviews.
  • Emergency Services Liaison: Establish and maintain active relationships with local PSAPs to ensure coordinated incident reporting and pre-planned logistics for emergency responses.
  • Documentation Development: Plan, develop, and implement written documentation, such as procedures, standards, job aids, and reference material, that will establish consistent expectations and scalability for the MSOC's operations.
  • Quality Assurance Program Development: Develop and oversee a quality assurance program that includes the review of incident intake records (phone calls, alarm data, emails, etc.) and response data (CAD reports, radio traffic, CCTV, etc.) to ensure the team's execution aligns with written guidance and best practices.
  • Training Program Development: Develop and oversee a comprehensive training program for new MSOC staff that adequately prepares them to function in the role.
  • Security Technology & Systems Management: Act as a power user for technical systems used by the MSOC team. Ensure system configuration aligns with operational needs and support the resolution of technical issues that arise.
  • Anduril Responder Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with the security operations team and other "boots on ground" response teams to ensure seamless integration into the MSOC's dispatch and communications model. Act as a key point of contact for operational alignment.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate closely with site leadership, operations management, Facilities, HR, EHS, and other internal departments to address concerns and integrate requests into operational workflows.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of cumulative experience in physical security operations or public safety, as a people leader with direct reports.
  • Proven experience leading teams, including direct supervision of direct reports and oversight of contracted staff.
  • Hands-on experience with the operation of CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems as well as dispatch communication technologies such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), radio consoles, and mass notification systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in incident response, investigation, and reporting within an operational context.
  • Strong understanding of physical security principles and best practices relevant to industrial facilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively direct and motivate operational teams.
  • Proven ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to assess risk, analyze complex situations, and make timely, effective decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting operational demands.
  • Ability to provide on-call support for critical incidents.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance if required.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled information or facilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience working in a Physical Security Operations Center (SOC, RSOC, GSOC, etc.)
  • Experience working in a large-scale manufacturing, industrial, or complex operational environment.
