JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for the performance of safe and efficient MRI examinations including the preparation of both patient and equipment while following all organizational and departmental policies. Position will be required to float within the Health System based on departmental needs.
This position requires providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position could potentially work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
JOB QUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training/Experience:REQUIRED:
- Graduate from an ARRT accredited Radiology program; OR
- An Associate's degree in MRI; OR
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imagine Technology (ARMRIT) certifcation
License/Certifications/Special Requirements:- Required: ARRT OR ARMRIT certification within one (1) year of employment.
- Preferred: Any advanced certification in MR.
