Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required, no experience in lieu accepted.
• Four years of relevant experience required; or
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline required with two years of experience; or
• PhD in a relevant discipline required with one year of experience.
• Required certification: MB (ASCP) or MT(ASCP).

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and troubleshoot assay performance.
• Compile, evaluate, and analyze data effectively.
• Assist in preparing schedules for laboratory coverage and timely results reporting.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new laboratory employees.
• Ensure laboratory compliance with CAP, NY, CLIA regulations, and 5S standards.
• Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance and reagent Quality Control records.
• Lead process improvements in the laboratory section.
