A Typical DayThe
Modifications Supervisor is responsible for supporting document integrity for loan modifications and managing escalated file disputes with Pennymac Attorneys and Mediations Department. This role provides operational oversight, team leadership, and pipeline management to ensure regulatory compliance and process efficiency.
The
Modifications Supervisor will:
- Support operations by stepping in to manage daily team workflow and escalate operational issues in the absence of the Director of Operations
- Evaluate and report on system functionality to ensure operational tools support ongoing job performance and business needs
- Draft, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and policies for department staff
- Monitor daily pipeline metrics and allocate workload across staff to meet targeted turn-time and volume service level agreements (SLAs)
- Review audit results with team members, providing structured performance feedback and corrective action coaching to improve compliance ratings
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
What You'll Bring- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Previous experience as Operations Manager for Origination of Loans
- FHA/VA/FNMA/FHLMC Experience
- Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word

- Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
- Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
- Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
