About the role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and hands-on expertise in testing iOS and Android mobile applications. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust mobile automation frameworks, executing manual and automated testing, and ensuring high-quality application releases across multiple devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Build and enhance mobile automation frameworks using Appium, Espresso, and XCUITest.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure application quality.
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Validate application functionality across multiple devices, OS versions, and screen sizes.
- Perform accessibility testing to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
Required Skills- 6+ years of applied experience in Quality Engineering / QA, including hands-on mobile application testing across iOS and Android.
- Demonstrated experience performing both manual testing (functional, regression, exploratory) and automated testing for mobile applications
- Required: Working proficiency with Android Studio and Xcode for building/running apps, inspecting logs, debugging, and working with simulators/emulators.
- Experience with mobile automation frameworks/tools (examples include Appium, Espresso, UIAutomator, XCUITest, XCTest; equivalent frameworks acceptable)
- Ability to design effective test strategies across layers (UI, API/service, integration) and select the right automation level for stability and ROI
