Mission Command Exercise Leader to lead the planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of Special Operations mission command exercises supporting Army Special Operations training objectives. This senior leader provides operational expertise while managing exercise design, execution, and after-action review activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Lead Mission Command Exercise planning efforts.
- Coordinate exercise development with government leadership.
- Manage exercise timelines and resources.
- Supervise exercise staff.
- Develop realistic operational scenarios.
- Integrate mission command systems into exercises.
- Conduct operational rehearsals.
- Oversee exercise execution.
- Facilitate after-action reviews.
- Prepare exercise reports and recommendations.
Required Qualifications- Master's degree.
- Graduate of the U.S. Army Special Forces Officer Qualification Course (18A) or Warrant Officer 180A.
- Graduate of Senior Service College or Warrant Officer Senior Service Education.
- Battalion Commander or Group-level Chief Warrant Officer experience.
- SOJTF staff experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Extensive experience designing Mission Command Exercises.
- Experience managing complex training environments.
- Special Operations operational planning experience.
