Role Overview
The IT Applications team is seeking an experienced Siemens Teamcenter Business Analyst to serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams for PLM initiatives. This role will drive requirements gathering, business process transformation, solution design, and successful implementation of Teamcenter across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations functions.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain processes.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Teamcenter.
• Lead workshops, requirements elicitation, and stakeholder discussions with global teams.
• Define and standardize BOM, Change Management (ECR/ECO/MCO), Configuration, and Release processes.
• Collaborate with architects and other IT teams to align solutions with business processes and PLM roadmap.
• Prepare and maintain process flows, use cases, and functional documentation.
• Provide functional input for BMIDE data modeling, including attributes, classifications, and business rules.
• Define functional requirements for SAP, MES and other system integrations.
• Support functional testing, UAT coordination, validation, and sign-offs.
• Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability.
• Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support data migration, mapping, validation, and business rules.
• Define reporting, dashboards, and KPIs for engineering and operations.
• Prepare training materials and user guides and support business adoption.
• Coordinate with support teams for smooth transition to operations.
• Support compliance, scope definition, estimation, and solution planning.
Must-have Required Skills
• Strong 5-7yrs of Business Analyst experience with Teamcenter PLM implementations.
• 9+ years of IT Experience
• BS in Computer Science Engineering, or equivalent - Master's degree is a plus
• Due to Compliance Regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position.
• Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end PLM implementation, migration, or transformation projects.
• Experience with Teamcenter X (SaaS) implementations and cloud-based PLM deployments.
• Experience with BMIDE and PLM data modeling is required.
• Hands-on experience to Integrate TeamcenterX PLM with other systems
• Deep understanding of engineering processes, BOM, product structures, and change management.
• Experience creating process flows and functional documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with SAP, MES and legacy systems integrations with Teamcenter is highly valuable.
• Experience working within Semiconductor Industry
• Knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Siemens Teamcenter certifications or PLM-related professional certifications are a strong plus.
• Experience working with AI-enabled PLM capabilities, Teamcenter Copilot, analytics, or process automation solutions.
RSU Eligible
This position is eligible to receive restricted stock unit (RSU) awards and cash bonuses, solely at MACOM's discretion, subject to individual and company performance.
Salary Range
The Salary Range for this position is $109,000 - $172,000. Actual salary offered to candidate will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, work location, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
