Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:
  • Verify supplier compliance with purchase contracts, customer specs, and regulations across manufacturing, quality systems, special processes, and product standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of supplier contracts, specs, drawings, and manufacturing plans to ensure alignment with documented requirements.
  • Facilitate audits, surveys, and inspections to uphold compliance, representing the company in supplier interactions.
  • Ensure suppliers establish and maintain approved Quality Systems per company and customer standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on Notifications of Escapement (NOE) and 8D processes, developing Control Plans and monitoring progress for quality standards adherence.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 6-9 years of experience in manufacturing and operations or Quality/Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Certification in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Corrective Action and ability to conduct conformity checks
  • Strong skills in interpreting drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI), and understanding contracts
  • Additional knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Technical or Engineering degree preferred

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $77,250 - $118,450
