ResponsibilitiesPosition Responsibilities:- Verify supplier compliance with purchase contracts, customer specs, and regulations across manufacturing, quality systems, special processes, and product standards.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of supplier contracts, specs, drawings, and manufacturing plans to ensure alignment with documented requirements.
- Facilitate audits, surveys, and inspections to uphold compliance, representing the company in supplier interactions.
- Ensure suppliers establish and maintain approved Quality Systems per company and customer standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers on Notifications of Escapement (NOE) and 8D processes, developing Control Plans and monitoring progress for quality standards adherence.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):- 6-9 years of experience in manufacturing and operations or Quality/Manufacturing Engineering.
- Travel up to 30%
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):- Familiarity with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
- Certification in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in Root Cause Corrective Action and ability to conduct conformity checks
- Strong skills in interpreting drawings, procedures, First Article Inspections (FAI), and understanding contracts
- Additional knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Six Sigma, and Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T)
- Technical or Engineering degree preferred

Summary Pay Range - Mid-Level (Level 3): $77,250 - $118,450
