Description

We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Program Analyst to provide program management, analytical, acquisition, and administrative support for complex programs. This position applies knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information in support of program and project managers, customers, and mission requirements. The Mid-Level Program Analyst will support program milestones, financial and acquisition activities, policy and quality control documentation, and other program-related requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting acquisition management and the ability to work effectively with program managers, business professionals, technical personnel, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Apply knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program and project managers and customers.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain information supporting program and project milestones, financial documentation, acquisition activities, policies, quality control, maintenance, training, and other program requirements.
  • Provide analytical and program management support to business managers, administrators, engineers, scientists, analysts, specialists, technicians, and other program personnel.
  • Assist senior personnel with work measurement studies, program and project operational efficiency reviews, cost studies, workload change impact analyses, and other business-related analyses.
  • Utilize automated management information systems to perform fact-finding, analytical, reporting, and advisory functions.
  • Assist with the preparation, tracking, and maintenance of program and project documentation and deliverables.
  • Collect and analyze data to support program management activities, organizational decision-making, and mission requirements.
  • Support the development of reports, briefings, spreadsheets, presentations, and other technical and program-related materials.
  • Utilize word processing, spreadsheet, database, desktop publishing, and drafting or graphics integration tools to prepare and deliver technical documentation and data.
  • Assist with organizing and presenting program information to support customer and mission requirements.
  • Collaborate with program managers, customers, and technical and administrative personnel to gather information, resolve issues, and support program objectives.
  • Perform other program analysis and management support activities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Management, or another relevant field is desired.
  • An associate’s degree (AA/AS) and four (4) additional years of related professional experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree.
  • Four (4) or more years of professional experience supporting acquisition management is desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, organize, analyze, and evaluate information in support of program and project requirements.
  • Experience supporting program or project management activities, documentation, milestones, or deliverables.
  • Experience providing analytical, administrative, or business support in a professional environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with program managers, customers, business professionals, and technical personnel.
  • Proficiency with common business and productivity tools, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Active Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense programs.
  • Experience supporting acquisition management activities or acquisition-related documentation.
  • Experience with work measurement studies, operational efficiency reviews, cost studies, workload analyses, or other business-related analytical activities.
  • Experience using automated management information systems for fact-finding, analysis, reporting, or advisory functions.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation, data packages, reports, briefings, or presentations.
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-disciplinary program environment.
