Full Job Description
The Business Intelligence Analyst - Medically Integrated Dispensing supports Medically Integrated Dispensing (MID) programs across a portfolio of health system and provider-based specialty pharmacy clients.

This role focuses on supporting the delivery of analytics, reporting, and insights derived from MID and pharmacy operations. The Business Analyst will partner with internal teams and contribute to client-facing deliverables to help drive operational performance, financial visibility, and organizational growth.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and comfortable working in a data-driven, client-oriented environment, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights under the guidance of senior team members. This candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of the healthcare and pharmacy industry, understanding key operations and success metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze distribution data along with operational metrics to support internal performance monitoring
  • Identify trends in volume, reimbursement, utilization, and payer mix
  • Support root cause analysis to identify performance gaps and operational issues
  • Contribute to development and tracking of standard MID KPIs
  • Assist with trend analysis, performance tracking, and forecasting support
  • Contribute to reporting on program ramp and growth across the MID portfolio
  • Partner with internal Operations, Finance, and Account Management teams to support performance management
  • Collaborate with internal data and technology teams to ensure data availability, quality, and consistency


Customer Analytics & Insights
  • Support analytics needs across the MID client portfolio, including routine and ad hoc analysis
  • Support analysis of financial performance, including:
    • Revenue and margin trends
    • Drug acquisition costs
    • Reimbursement variability
  • Prepare inputs and insights for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and client deliverables
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights and summaries for client consumption
  • Support customization of analytics for practice-level and program-level decision making
  • Participate in client meetings and data reviews, as needed
  • Respond to client and internal requests for data, analysis, and performance insights


Prospective Customer Analytics
  • Support analytics for new business opportunities and prospective MID clients
  • Develop data inputs and supporting insights for proposals and solution design
  • Analyze referral trends, utilization patterns, and growth opportunities
  • Support preparation of data for pro forma models and business cases


Reporting Outputs & Visualization
  • Develop and maintain tables, reports, dashboards in Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar tools
  • Build and update client-facing and internal reporting outputs
  • Support creation of standardized reporting templates across clients
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of all reporting deliverables
  • Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reporting assets


Minimum Requirement
  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.


Critical Skills
  • 4+ years of experience analyzing prescription claims data
  • Substantially proficient with PowerBI, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake
  • 4+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence in a healthcare related field.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Pharmacy claims and dispensing data
    • Drug purchasing data and cost structures
  • High proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau and Databricks
  • Extensive understanding and application of ETL processes
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets

$93,300 - $155,500
