In this role, you will:- Lead and oversee daily operations of the Respiratory Therapy Department
- Support the delivery of safe, high-quality respiratory care
- Develop, mentor, and engage respiratory therapy team members
- Promote a positive culture focused on teamwork, professional growth, and employee morale
- Monitor department productivity and operational goals
- Collaborate closely with hospital leadership, physicians, medical staff, and other departments
- Help drive initiatives that support departmental, hospital, and UF Health system goals

QualificationsEducation: Associate degree in Respiratory Care and Bachelor degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or similar.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must have current Florida License, RRT, ACLS, BLS for Healthcare providers, NRP, PALS.
Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training: Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Maintains/Exceeds all Specialty educational requirements.
Training as required by licensure.
Experience Required
8 years clinical experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
5 years of supervisory experience in acute care setting.
