Schedule: Monday - Friday / Day Shift
Hybrid: One remote day per week, the rest is onsite
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Nursing Ambulatory Clinic Manager is primarily responsible for the operational, clinical, and educational functions of clinical staff within the assigned area. The Manager supervises all clinical staff and develops programs that support staff growth and professional development. While maintaining a collaborative, team-based approach to shared responsibilities, the Manager functions independently in overseeing clinical operations.
The Manager provides clinical oversight of the General Nephrology Department, Hemodialysis, and Peritoneal Dialysis programs, including supervision of nursing staff (Medical Assistants, Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Registered Nurses) as well as dialysis technicians. The Manager ensures compliance with all applicable regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
In collaboration with physician leadership and clinical staff, the Manager works to achieve the goals and objectives of the Ambulatory Care Services area. The Manager is responsible for maintaining staff competencies and ensuring that all policies and procedures are age- and developmentally appropriate. Serving as a change agent, the Manager promotes operational excellence and demonstrates a strong commitment to a patient- and family-centered model of care.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:
2+ years of recent pediatric experience required.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
Previous fiscal management experience preferred.
Experience with clinical oversight of hemo-and peritoneal dialysis programs, certification with focus in nephrology preffered.
Education/Licensure/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or relevant health related field from an accredited school required, Master's Degree required.
Current Registered Nurse California Licensure.
National Certification Required.
BLS and PALS through American Heart Association required.
Pay Scale Information
$131,352.00-$178,638.72
