Salary Range: $169,000.00 to $212,000.00
The anticipated salary range represents the estimated base pay for this role. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors, and may vary from the posted range
The Role
Preferred leadership/conduct experience with all phases of CVN and/or SSN Combat, Large Networks and Non-Propulsion Electronics Industrial Test Program management including planning, scheduling, progressing, security and testing (land based, shipboard, certification and sea trials). Experience with controlling radio frequency and/or acoustic energy for personnel safety a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills across multi-organizational stakeholders (Shipbuilder, Government, NAVSEA, Ship's Force test teams) required
SECRET DoD security clearance required.
Must Have
Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master's Degree and 6 years of relevant experience; PhD and 4 years of relevant experience.
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.
