Position Summary
The Manager, Creative Experience Development is responsible for envisioning, developing, and shaping innovative guest experiences that enhance Norwegian Cruise Line Holding brands and elevate the onboard guest journey.
This role serves as a catalyst for creativity and innovation, identifying emerging trends, generating new concepts, and developing compelling experience strategies across entertainment, attractions, public spaces, technology-enabled experiences, and guest engagement touchpoints. Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners, the Manager will transform ideas into well-defined concepts that can be evaluated, prioritized, and ultimately delivered through newbuild and fleetwide initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines creative thinking, strategic vision, guest-centric design principles, and strong storytelling skills to create memorable experiences that differentiate the brand and drive guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop innovative concepts that elevate the guest experience across all stages of the cruise journey.
Create experience narratives, guest journeys, and concept frameworks for new products, spaces, attractions, and entertainment offerings.
Translate business objectives and brand strategies into compelling guest-facing experiences aligned with operational and commercial goals.
Facilitate ideation workshops and collaborative brainstorming sessions with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Monitor emerging trends across hospitality, entertainment, attractions, retail, sports, technology, gaming, and experiential design.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and evaluate emerging technologies, products, and creative concepts for potential implementation.
Maintain a pipeline of innovative ideas aligned with strategic priorities, future guest expectations, and market trends.
Develop concept briefs, vision documents, presentations, and business cases that clearly communicate recommendations, guest benefits, and strategic rationale.
Evaluate and prioritize innovation initiatives based on guest impact, feasibility, operational considerations, and strategic value.
Partner with Casino, Entertainment, Hotel Operations, Marketing, Onboard Revenue, Product, and other stakeholders to refine concepts and ensure alignment with business requirements.
Support project teams throughout development to preserve the integrity of the original guest experience vision and engage external vendors, agencies, consultants, and industry partners as needed.
Represent the department in executive reviews, innovation workshops, and strategic planning sessions, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.
