Full Job Description
As a Manager Commercial Technology, you will plan and implement technological service strategies within a shared services environment while acting as a liaison between the IT and Gathering and Processing Commercial groups or IT and Eastern Interstates Commercial Groups. You9ll lead a team of professionals in enhancing scheduling systems, data presentation solutions, and predictive models. You will also have the opportunity to act as a resource for all commercial departments to use while looking for creative solutions to grow the business and make more educated decisions for short and long-term strategy development . Innovative thinking and the ability to collaborate with others to identify and resolve sophisticated problems are keys to success! Responsibilities/Expectations: 3 Coordinates workforce planning and career development activities for direct employees; Provides meaningful feedback to team members and provides challenging work with appropriate amount of oversight 3 Designs, develops, implements, evaluates and continuously improves training programs and processes using a range of practical learning solutions 3 Serves as internal expert on the scheduling systems including, but not limited to, data requests for regulatory filings, strategies for expansion or new projects, system solutions for commercial groups, implementing scheduling restrictions, and working with IT to provide analytical data to assist in commercial decision making 3 Prepares/supports revenue budget and forecasting; prepares and provides monthly reporting for internal partners 3 Other duties as assigned Education/Years of Experience: 3 Required: Bachelor9s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT or related with ten (10) years9 industry experience 3 Preferred: Master9s degree Other Requirements: 3 Ability to lead a project team of cross-functional employees from requirement gathering to implementation 3 Thorough understanding of all scheduling/contracting processes (pre-flow/flow/post-flow) and regulatory requirements 3 Understanding and experience working with sophisticated databases 3 Ability to analyze data, do trend analysis and predictive behavior to support filings and projects 3 Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority 3 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, including Power Business BI 3 Preferred: Knowledge of machine-based learning tools #LI-CT1 Why Houston?
