Responsibilities

  • Lead resource management for the Medical Equipment Planning service line.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, and quality to meet client requirements.
  • Refine and document MEQ delivery workflows for consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop training programs for planners and project coordinators; mentor staff.
  • Assign work based on client needs and staff capabilities, ensuring clear communication.
  • Ensure compliance with administrative policies such as timesheets and expense reports.
  • Review work products for quality and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative culture and resolve inter-team disputes.
  • Recruit and develop team members; conduct performance reviews and set goals.
  • Partner with CRM on marketing plans and support new business development initiatives.

Full Job Description
Medical Equipment Operations Manager

As Medical Equipment Operations Manager, you'll lead a growing service line-optimizing staffing and delivery processes, elevating quality, developing talent, and ensuring projects meet client requirements efficiently and consistently.
  • Lead resource management for the Medical Equipment Planning service line-forecast staffing needs, balance utilization, and reallocate based on project demand.
  • Oversee all active projects to ensure scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client requirements are met within company standards and policies.
  • Track adherence to MEQ processes; refine and document delivery workflows and templates to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Develop training for planners and project coordinators; mentor staff on delivery methods, QA/QC, and client service.
  • Assign work based on client needs, project type, workload, and staff capabilities; maintain clear communication across the team.
  • Ensure compliance with routine administrative policies (timesheets, expense reports, POs); approve timesheets and expenses in line with allocations.
  • Own service-line quality; review work products and implement corrective actions and lessons learned.
  • Foster an engaged, collaborative culture; resolve disputes across teams and with other departments; drive process improvements to prevent recurrences.
  • Recruit, select, and develop colleagues; set goals, conduct performance reviews, and provide salary/bonus recommendations.
  • Partner with the CRM to develop and execute marketing plans; support client-care activities and new business development.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and ensure high satisfaction; represent SSR in industry organizations to elevate the firm's reputation.
  • Prepare and deliver reports on performance statistics, pipeline, staffing, and utilization; support special projects and related duties.

Who We're Looking For

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree AND eight years of applicable experience OR twelve years of direct experience in the healthcare arena and allied services
  • Six years of experience specifically in project management

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and web browser applications; familiarity with industry-specific software.
  • Understanding of engineering principles/methodologies, resource allocation, and project delivery in AE environments.
  • Clear written communication and speech clarity; detail orientation with strong judgment, problem solving, and business acumen.
  • Team-building, interpersonal, personnel management, leadership, and mentoring skills to develop high-performing teams.
