WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The MEP Specialist sits at the core of project success. You'll provide expertise across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, and controls systems from early pursuit through project turnover. Working closely with project teams, you will help ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient MEP execution while supporting cost analysis, scheduling, system performance, and contract development for multiple projects. You will also elevate Choate's technical capabilities by mentoring teammates and building strong relationships with clients, design partners, and trade contractors to help secure new opportunities and achieve exceptional outcomes.

YOU COULD BE THE NEXT CHOATE MEP SPECIALIST IF...
  • You provide technical expertise across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, low-voltage, and controls systems, supporting projects from design through construction and turnover.
  • You partner with preconstruction, project management, and field teams to drive alignment, support decision-making, and ensure seamless MEP execution.
  • You collaborate directly with trade partners to coordinate scope, sequencing, and system integration, stepping in to lead MEP scopes when needed.
  • You support cost evaluations, constructability reviews, value engineering, and procurement efforts to deliver efficient and effective project solutions.
  • You champion safety and quality in the field, ensuring all systems meet Choate's high standards and are successfully commissioned.
  • You mentor and develop project teams, sharing MEP knowledge and helping strengthen overall team capability and performance.
  • You build strong relationships with clients, designers, and partners, contributing to repeat business and new project opportunities through expertise and service.
