Full Job Description
The Role
We're looking for a technical person to find and win Mirendil's first customers. You'll work directly with researchers and engineers to understand how they work, find where our models and product can make a real difference, prove it through hands-on evaluations and pilots, and turn that into paying customers. You'll be the first person in this role, working closely with the founders and our research and engineering teams, so you'll also shape who we sell to, what we sell, and how.
What You'll Own
Dive deep into a customer's research or engineering workflow, identify the problem worth solving, and determine whether our models can solve it.
Design and run evaluations and pilots: set up experiments, agree on success criteria with the customer, and bring in our researchers and engineers to build and deliver.
Turn successful pilots into paid adoption: build the business case, handle pricing and procurement, and close deals, with support from our business team and counsel.
Guide customers through onboarding and early use, and bring what you learn back into product and model decisions.
Prioritize customers and use cases worth our time, and document what works so we can repeat it.
Who You Are
You have a CS degree or equivalent technical training, and a strong background in ML, applied AI, or AI infrastructure, ideally including time at a frontier lab or AI research team. You can hold your own in technical conversations with researchers.
You've personally won customers for a technical product, as a founder, solutions or forward deployed engineer, or early GTM hire, while the product was still taking shape.
You can tell real buying intent from curiosity, and you're comfortable negotiating a commercial commitment.
You like owning things end to end and working side by side with researchers.
Experience with scientific or research workflows is a big plus, as is hands-on coding and the ability to build lightweight demos or prototypes.
If you want to be the person who figures out where frontier research meets real customers, we'd love to hear from you.
We offer a base salary of 250,000 - 350,000 USD and a meaningful equity grant, depending on experience and background, along with competitive benefits.
