Job Description:The impact you'll make in this roleAs a Medical Science Specialist on the Clinical team,you will serve as a trusted scientific peer to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and academic researchers. You will be responsible for communicating complex clinical data, supporting investigator-initiated research, and gathering real-world medical insights to inform our internal pipeline. This is a field-based professional position with scientific, clinical, and therapeutic area expertise that will function, in part, as a company spokesperson on clinical programs, clinical trials and marketing functions that require clinical/medical translation.
Essential Responsibilities- Build and maintain effective working relationships with KOLs towards the development of key strategic partnerships
- Oversee preparation and delivery of clinical data presentations for conferences and key meetings
- Provide medical and scientific support for Acera's marketed products, new indications for current products and products in development
- Primary contact for all clinical questions regarding Acera Surgical's marketed and pipeline products, as well as for questions on clinical data and trials
- Represent the company at sales meetings, conferences, and customer presentations
- Capture and analyze real-world clinical insights, treatment trends, and unmet medical needs from the field to guide internal medical strategy
- Facilitate investigator-initiated trials (IITs) and assist clinical operations teams with company-sponsored trial enrollment and site identification
- Provide internal training and expert guidance to marketing, clinical development, and regulatory affairs teams
- Adhere strictly to industry regulations, legal frameworks, and ethical guidelines, ensuring zero involvement in promotional or sales-driven activities

Required Qualifications:- Master's degree or higher from an accredited university in Medicine, Biology, Wound Care, or a life sciences discipline.
- Five 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, scientific marketing, or clinical development
- Experience in communicating scientific information, including oral and written forums
"Nice to Have" Qualifications:- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts while customizing messaging based on audience
- Public speaking experience
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry in the United States
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to interact with both internal and external customers, with a focus on customer service
- Proven capability to collaborate across functions and internal structures

Pay Transparency Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $187,600.00 - $257,950.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
