Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Medical Oncologist, you will join a growing practice within Dignity Health Medical Group Bakersfield, playing a pivotal role in expanding and enhancing our comprehensive cancer care network. You will integrate into a dynamic and collaborative team of experienced specialists, including Hematology/Oncology, Surgical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology. This role offers the chance to contribute to the development and growth of our cancer services, shaping best practices and making a significant impact on patients' lives.
You will provide expert comprehensive medical oncology care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and management. You will also actively collaborate with a dynamic multidisciplinary team of experienced specialists to deliver individualized patient treatment plans, contribute to clinical best practices, and help shape the future of integrated cancer care within our robust network.
To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Medical Oncologist with exceptional clinical acumen, outstanding communication and collaboration skills, and a steadfast commitment to patient-centered care within a supportive and expanding clinical environment.
We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires: A base salary ranging from $545k - $605k for two years (transitioning to a productivity model thereafter), a $20k signing bonus, relocation assistance for qualified candidates, and a robust benefits package including Medical, dental, vision, PTO, CME, and 401k.
Job Requirements
Required
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology
- Active or eligible license in the state of California
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with a patient-centered approach.
