Summary:

The Medical Logistics Analyst III provides experienced medical logistics analysis, planning, and operational support for Army medical logistics programs. This position analyzes medical logistics data, systems, plans, policies, and requirements and develops recommendations to support medical logistics readiness and operations. The position works with Army, DoD, theater, and joint organizations to assess medical logistics requirements and identify operational risks and capability gaps.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Reviews and analyzes Army medical logistics capabilities, requirements, processes, and operations.
  • Obtains, validates, and analyzes data from Defense Medical Logistics-Enterprise Solutions and MEDLOG systems.
  • Develops reports, briefings, presentations, and analytical products to communicate medical logistics findings and recommendations.
  • Supports analysis of national strategic documents, DoD and HQDA guidance, ASCC posture statements, theater support plans, prepositioned medical stocks, and OPLANS/CONPLANS.
  • Supports strategic and operational medical logistics planning and assessments.
  • Analyzes medical materiel readiness, distribution, sustainment, and resource requirements.
  • Applies knowledge of TEWLS/TWELS, GCSS-A, AESIP, DMLSS, and DCAM to support medical logistics analysis and reporting.
  • Assesses medical logistics requirements and capabilities across AMC, DHA/MEDLOG, MEDCOM, ASCC, TSC/ESC, and joint partners.
  • Supports integration of medical logistics requirements across multidisciplinary teams and organizational stakeholders.
  • Evaluates the impact of MHS transformation and other organizational or operational changes on medical logistics processes and capabilities.
  • Identifies trends, risks, capability gaps, and opportunities for improving medical logistics operations.
  • Supports development and refinement of strategic and operational plans and related medical logistics documentation.
  • Provides recommendations to leadership based on data analysis, operational assessments, and established Army medical logistics practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Army medical logistics and familiarity with MHS transformation.
  • Working knowledge of DoD and Military Health System organizations and medical logistics operations, including USAMMA and AMLC.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in U.S. Army medical logistics.
  • Experience serving in Army medical logistics at the unit, command, or staff level.
  • Previous experience serving as a 70A, 70H, or 70K Health Services Materiel Officer, or 68J Medical Logistics Specialist.
  • Experience with TEWLS/TWELS, GCSS-A, and AESIP.
  • Experience with DMLSS and DCAM.
  • Experience supporting strategic and operational planning and medical logistics assessments.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating medical logistics requirements across multiple organizations.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree

 

Pay and Benefits

The annual salary range for this position is $105,000 to $135,000.
