Lakeshore Animal Health Partners is seeking an exceptional veterinarian to join our leadership team as Medical Director.

This is an opportunity for an experienced specialist or emergency veterinarian who is passionate about clinical excellence, mentorship, and building high-performing medical teams. As Medical Director, you'll continue practicing medicine while partnering with hospital leadership to guide medical quality, support our specialists and emergency clinicians, and help shape the future of one of Canada's premier specialty hospitals.

About the Role
• Champion clinical excellence and uphold the highest standards of patient care.
• Mentor, coach, and support specialists, emergency veterinarians, interns, residents, and developing clinicians.
• Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing medical culture.
• Partner with the Practice Manager, Hospital Director and Regional Medical Director on strategic planning, operational improvements, and hospital growth.
• Develop medical protocols, SOPs, and best practices.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of veterinarians.
• Lead doctor meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Serve as Veterinarian of Record and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Deliver an exceptional client and referral experience.
• Remain an active clinician within your area of expertise.

We're Looking For
• DVM (or equivalent) eligible for licensure in Ontario.
• Experience in a specialty or emergency hospital.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience.
